Penny Love is an approximately 1.5-year-old, 70 lb Lab mix with an effortless, classic charm. She's easygoing, kind-hearted, and possesses a steady, loving presence. Penny Love is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and has a calm, balanced temperament that makes her a joy to have around. From the moment she arrived in her foster home, she has been an absolute dream. She has a beautifully laid-back energy, often found relaxing near her people, exuding a rare "old soul" vibe. While she loves being close, she's not clingy, offering a perfect balance of companionship and independence.
Ideal Home
Penny Love would do best in a home with a canine friend that is also calm and collected, ideally a male dog who enjoys company without the need for constant play and who will respect her space. If no other dogs are present, Penny is perfectly happy, as her greatest joy comes from being with her favorite people. She is also cat-friendly and has lived harmoniously with aloof cats in her foster home. A home with a backyard would be wonderful for her to roam and relax, though she is also adaptable to apartment living due to her mellow nature.
Ongoing Health
Penny Love is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Penny Love is a treat-motivated girl who is learning basic commands like "sit" and aims to please. She is potty trained and is making progress with crate training. She enjoys casual strolls and is a wonderful companion for relaxing at the end of the day.
