Dwight in Colorado

Meet Dwight! This approximately 8-year-old, 70-pound bundle of energy is looking for his forever home in Northglenn, Colorado. Dwight is a loyal companion who bonds deeply with his humans and will be your shadow after a few treats and some playtime. He's a bit cautious at first with new people but quickly warms up and shows his sweet, playful side. Dwight is house-trained, knows "sit" and "settle," and is eager to learn more! He loves walks, chasing bunnies and squirrels, playing with his toys, and lounging around, especially on the couch. He sleeps soundly through the night, preferably under the covers with you, and can be left alone for several hours. Dwight enjoys car rides and uses a doggie door.

Ideal Home

Dwight would thrive in a home where he can be your devoted companion. He prefers to be the only dog and can be possessive of his people, so a home without other dogs would be ideal. He is not a good fit for homes with cats. He will need proper introductions to new people.

Ongoing Health

Dwight is neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all veterinary care. He is not currently on any medications.

Training & Support

Dwight is house-trained and knows basic commands like "sit" and "settle." He is eager to learn more and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. He can be possessive of his people, so gentle guidance and proper introductions will help him continue to build confidence and manage his interactions.
