Gina

Gina is an 8-month-old, 56lb spayed female Belgian Malinois mix who was found abandoned on the streets as a tiny puppy. She was discovered alone in a cardboard box by a busy road, a rough start that makes her current chance at finding a loving forever home even more special. Thanks to a wonderful foster, Gina is now ready to find her perfect match.

Ideal Home

Gina thrives on human attention and would do well with older children (10+) who are dog-savvy, as she can be jumpy when excited and is still learning her size. An active household that can provide daily play and exercise is ideal for this energetic pup. She also does best with familiar dog friends and would benefit from a canine companion at home. A cat-free environment is recommended due to her enthusiasm for neighborhood kitties.

Training & Support

Gina is crate trained and can stay crated for up to 8 hours without accidents. She walks well on a leash and shows no signs of separation anxiety. While she is in the "puppy velociraptor stage" and needs guidance on appropriate chewing, she is working on house training.
