Meet Sage PC!

Sage is a handsome, 2-year-old, 80-pound boy who's a Super Sized Jack Russell Terrier mix, or so he looks! His foster mom believes he's a Labrador/Husky mix. He's a neutered male with white and tan coloring, and he's already done with his "stud" days! Sage is a loyal and sweet boy with a calm demeanor for his age. He was left behind when his previous family moved, waiting for over two weeks for them to return. Thankfully, some kind neighbors fed him, and he ended up at the city shelter. A compassionate neighbor intervened and is fostering him temporarily, searching for his forever home. Sage is a gentle giant, not much of a barker except to alert you, and he's a total shadow, happy to follow you around. He enjoys running in the yard, going on walks, and knows how to "sit." He's easy-going, incredibly lovable, and adores his squeaky ball, his bed, and gentle pats. His foster mom raves about his striking eyes, saying he should give eyeliner tutorials! Sage worries about being left alone again, so he's looking for a family that will never abandon him.

Ideal Home

Sage is good with dogs and children, as he came from a home with five kids and two dogs. He is not good with cats. He is potty-trained and enjoys walks. Because he was left behind once, he can be clingy, but this is understandable given his past.

Ongoing Health

Sage is already neutered.

Training & Support

Sage knows how to "sit" and is potty-trained. He can be a bit timid at times but is generally sweet and calm. He enjoys following his people around and is looking for a family that will provide him with the security and love he deserves.

Sage is located in San Antonio, but he can be transported out of state.
