JYRI*

Jyri is a sweet boy named after the cuddly Squishmallow, and while he might not be ready for a squeeze just yet, he certainly has a sweet disposition! He was found as a stray and has shown himself to be a shy but loving pup who will blossom with a patient and caring family. A volunteer noted that he was a bit head shy when being leashed but walked confidently. Once outside, he explored and eventually approached for treats, even offering a few tail wags when given chin scritches and tasty rewards. He has a lot of potential and will truly benefit from understanding and patience as he adjusts to his new home. Jyri has also shown himself to be playful and social when meeting other dogs, sharing his kennel with another PACC pup and doing well in playgroups.

Ideal Home

Jyri needs a patient family who can help him build confidence and understand that he is safe.

Jyri is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jyri can be head shy when being leashed, but is a confident walker once on the leash. He responds well to treats and gentle encouragement.
