Phillip

Meet Phillip, a 50-pound Staffy mix who’s a champion toy flinger and cuddle enthusiast! Phillip is a big-hearted pup who can be a little shy at first, but he's gaining confidence every day. He's a star when it comes to bath time and is making great progress with his leash manners, though he sometimes needs a gentle reminder that he's the one being walked! Phillip enjoys playing with other dogs, big and small, and is good with men and women. However, he's still learning that hands can be for gentle pets, not for scary gestures, so a home that understands this is best. Phillip has a moderate to high energy level and enjoys daily exercise and mental stimulation through walks or puzzle toys. He is crate-trained and doesn't dig, but he loves his chew toys, so supervised play is a must. Phillip knows how to sit and is very enthusiastic about treats – we're working on channeling that excitement! He's a work in progress and will make a loyal companion with the right family.

Ideal Home

Phillip would do best in a home that understands he's a work in progress and can provide him with patience and love as he continues to grow in confidence. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.
