Russell

Meet Russell, a handsome 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart of gold. He's a classic Pyr – sweet, gentle, laid-back, and incredibly friendly and affectionate. Russell originally came to us as a stray, found by the Bell County TX Animal Shelter. He's a tall and rangy boy, weighing in at 80 lbs and has a lovely golden sheen on his back. Russell is a true gentleman, completely house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. He absolutely adores car rides and can happily cruise for hours. With his big, round "football helmet" head and ever-wagging tail, he's always ready to shower you with loving gestures.

Ideal Home

Russell would thrive in a home that appreciates his gentle nature and can offer him a loving companion. He's good with both dogs and cats and would enjoy having a canine playmate to share his days with.

Ongoing Health

Russell is fully vetted, neutered, and tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Russell is already well-trained in basic obedience, including house, crate, and leash training. He's a responsive boy who clearly loves people.

• Adoption fee is $350, which includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and a health certificate for travel.

Transporation

Russell is located in Texas. We have bi-monthly transports to various locations. For transport outside of Texas, adopters will pay the cost, which varies by location and carrier. Northeast transport is $200, the Northwest and Midwest range from $225-$350, and the Southeast ranges from $250-$350.
