Remmie is a 4.5-month-old, 20-pound Heeler/Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul who is looking for a family to help him build confidence and explore the world. He and his brother, Rhett, were born in South Texas and, along with their mom, received necessary veterinary care before traveling to North Carolina. Their mom has already found her forever home, and now Remmie is ready for his own happy ending! Remmie is a sensitive and sweet-natured puppy who may take a little time to warm up in new situations. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and loyal side truly shines. He loves companionship, gentle attention, and being close to his trusted humans. As an intelligent herding breed mix, Remmie is eager to learn. He would do best with adopters who understand that shy puppies need patience, consistency, and a safe environment to thrive.
