Hunter

Hunter is a sweet boy who's had a bit of a rough time. He loves to play, but he can be a bit too enthusiastic. He has a tendency to be mouthy during play, grabbing other dogs with his mouth and pulling on them. While he's never hurt another animal, this play style has unfortunately led to a couple of traumatic incidents where his teeth got caught in other dogs' collars. Because of this, it's a strict requirement that there be NO COLLARS on any other animals in the home with him. He's gotten along with every dog we've introduced him to, but he might do best as the only dog in the home, with a very submissive dog, or with a family committed to working on his mouthy play behavior. We're unsure how he would do with cats or children.

Ideal Home

A home where he is the only dog, with a submissive dog, or with a family dedicated to training out his mouthy play style. Absolutely no collars on any other animals in the home. We are unsure how he would do with cats or children.

Ongoing Health

Hunter is neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted.

Training & Support

Hunter is very mouthy in play and needs training to help curb this behavior. He needs a family that can help him learn to play more gently and understand boundaries.
