Joey Jolly is a delightful Corgi mix, about 2 years old, who's like a perfectly proportioned, fun-sized superstar! With his Corgi ears, short legs, and a body that hints at a Lab, he's a unique and utterly lovable blend of adorable features. Weighing in at 46 lbs, he's the ideal "in-between" size – not too big, not too small! His most striking feature is his eyes: one a warm caramel brown, the other a captivating mix of caramel and icy blue. Joey's personality is as vibrant as his looks; he's incredibly happy, joyful, and affectionate, always eager to share his bubbly energy. He was fostered with children ages 12 and 16 and did great, and he was also comfortable and relaxed around a 5-year-old, even taking treats and sitting for him!
Ideal Home
Joey would likely enjoy having a playful canine companion to share his zoomies with, but he doesn't require another dog to feel settled. He's happy and social on his own and would also be a wonderful fit for a semi-active family or someone working from home who can appreciate his adventurous spirit and his love for relaxing by their side. He could thrive in an apartment with proper exercise and socialization or in a home with a backyard.

Joey is a healthy boy. All vetting is included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Joey is crate trained and potty trained. He walks fairly well on a leash, though he can pull with excitement sometimes and could benefit from continued leash training. He knows how to sit (sometimes!) and is eager to please.

Transporation
Joey is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
