Ferka is a delightful Chihuahua mix, approximately 4 years old and weighing around 9 lbs. She's a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Ferka was found at a church during Mass, comfortable and social with both people and other dogs, and that sweet, social spirit is exactly who she is. She's crate-trained, rides calmly in the car, and is friendly with dogs, children, men, and women, even strangers. Ferka is affectionate, playful, loves giving kisses, and truly enjoys being part of the action.
Ideal Home
Ferka would do best with tolerant, playful dogs or with proper supervision, as her high energy can sometimes overwhelm other dogs. She cannot live with cats as she tends to chase them.
Ongoing Health
Ferka has received the following health treatments: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 shots of DHPPI Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, Dewormed, Microchipped, 4DX Test and Certificate, Heartworm test Negative Certificate, Monthly Preventive Protection Nexgard Spectra (fleas, ticks and heartworm), and a Health Certificate with a Vaccines booklet. It's important to note that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period and patience in their new homes.
Training & Support
Ferka is not house-trained. It is important to understand that this is a rescued dog, and as such, she may need time to adjust and learn. Families should have a willingness to work on training and provide a patient, understanding environment.
