Meet Scooby! This athletic, playful, and friendly pooch is a hilarious fellow with a funny side that will have you laughing all day long. Scooby is an intelligent boy who needs a home that can keep up with his active nature. He loves playing with toys and going on long walks, but what he loves most is a good snuggle session. He is a sweet and charming dog who would make a great addition to most homes, especially those with a yard where he can run around and play to his heart's content. Scooby has some anxiety likely due to his previous starvation and being dumped. He is a sweet guy who will take a little bit of time to gain his love and trust. Once he knows you will feed him and not dump him, he will be your bestest friend. He has come such a long way since coming to Top Dog Daycare & Boarding last October and still has a ways to go, but he is doing great! Scooby has AMAZING leash manners, loves to play tug and fetch, and has the funniest zoomies you've ever seen.
Ideal Home
A home with a yard where Scooby can run around and play to his heart's content would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Scooby has anxiety due to past trauma, but he is working through it and doing great. Known medical conditions are discussed at the time of inquiry. All pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and micro-chipped.
Training & Support
Scooby has amazing leash manners and loves to play tug and fetch. He is still working through some anxiety related to his past experiences, but he is making great progress.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Must live in the Central Ohio area (within 45 miles of our office).
- Must be over the age of 24 to adopt.
- Resident pets must be spayed/neutered.
- An adoption agreement and $300 adoption fee apply for adult dogs.
- The adoption process includes a lease manager reference (if applicable), a veterinarian reference, and a home-visit (in-person or virtual).
- If you've never owned a pet, you'll need to call several vet offices to compare services, prices, and availability.
- The dog will go back home with us after the visit to allow your family to discuss and ensure he is a good fit for your home.

Scooby is located in Central Ohio. Transport may be available within 45 miles of the office.
