Diego ¡Ándale! ¡Ándale!

Diego, a handsome Doberman mix with a zest for life, is ready to find his forever home! He's estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs a lean 62 lbs. Diego's personality shines through with his love for speed and play – he's a champion at "¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!" and we suspect he might be bilingual! He was found wandering near a busy road in Houston and thankfully, a kind soul rescued him and brought him to us.

Ideal Home

Diego would thrive in a home with a yard where he can safely express his need for speed. An owner familiar with the energy levels of the Doberman breed would be ideal. Due to his strong prey drive, he must be in a home without cats, as he will chase smaller critters.

Ongoing Health

Diego has been neutered and vaccinated. He also underwent heartworm treatment. His cropped ears have some scarring along the edges, which may indicate past infections, but they do not cause him discomfort or require any special care now.

Training & Support

Diego is crate-trained, which serves as his "off" button. He enjoys car rides and meeting new people. He's generally quiet and observant, but he does need ample opportunities for vigorous exercise to balance his physical and mental stimulation. He is playful with dogs of all sizes and personalities and avoids conflict.
