Barbie

Barbie is a sweet, active, and affectionate girl who is approximately 5 years old. She's on the smaller side and is incredibly social, always happy, and loves everyone she meets! Barbie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and doesn't mind cats either. She recently had puppies and will be ready to find her forever home in a couple of weeks, so don't wait to apply! Her foster family affectionately calls her Barb, Barbie Doll, or Barbara, and they clearly enjoy her bubbly personality.

Application Details:

• Applications to adopt Barbie start by contacting us through Wags.
• All adoption applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Adoptions include spay/neuter, medical care for known conditions, heart-worm testing (adult dogs), dewormer, core vaccines, monthly flea/tick and/or heartworm prevention, and microchipping.
• Adoptions also include FREE 30 days of shelter pet insurance through Trupanion Shelter Pet Insurance Company.
• Please plan for your new pet's future veterinary care, including follow-up deworming and vaccines as recommended by your veterinarian.

Transportation

Barbie is currently in a foster home located in Illinois. We work with various foster homes throughout the Lake, Cook, Kane, and McHenry counties in IL. Transportation arrangements can be discussed during the application process.
