Meet Phillip, a 50-pound Staffy mix who is a true champion of playtime and snuggles! Phillip has a special talent for flinging plush toys and after he’s aced bath time, he’s ready for some quality cuddle time.
While Phillip may be a bit shy initially, he’s a big-hearted pup who is blossoming with confidence every day. His leash manners are improving, and with a little patience, he’ll be walking right beside you. Phillip has a friendly disposition and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, from pups his own size to a Great Pyrenees puppy. He’s also a charmer with men and women alike. He’s still learning that hands can be for pets and not threats, so he’d do best in a home where this is understood and not a concern.
Phillip has a moderate to high energy level, so he’s looking for an active home that can provide him with daily exercise and mental stimulation, whether through walks or puzzle toys. He is crate-trained and doesn’t dig, but he does have a strong affinity for his chew toys, so supervised play is a must!
Phillip knows how to sit, and with the excitement of treats, he’s working on his impulse control. He’s a work in progress and will thrive in a loving and patient home where he can become your most loyal companion.
Ideal Home
Phillip is looking for a home that will provide him with the space and understanding to continue growing into the confident, happy dog he’s destined to be. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.
Ongoing Health
Phillip is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health concerns.
Training & Support
Phillip is working on leash manners and impulse control around treats. He is crate-trained and does not dig. Supervised play with chew toys is recommended.

Phillip is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week.
