Dillo

Meet Dillo, a delightful male pup born on March 19, 2026. As of April 30, 2026, he is 6 weeks old and weighs about 4 pounds, with an estimated adult size of medium to large, based on his 60-pound mother. Dillo's journey began when his mom was rescued as a stray near a busy freeway. She gave birth to a healthy litter, and Dillo is now ready to find his forever home. He is a bundle of joy, described by his foster mom as the sweetest little pup. Dillo is friendly with everyone he meets, including dogs, cats, and children. He enjoys belly rubs and playing with his foster siblings in the yard, and he also loves to snuggle up in a lap.

Ideal Home

Dillo would thrive in a home with a fully fenced yard or an active family who can help him burn off his puppy energy. He would likely enjoy having another dog in the home to learn from, but it's not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Dillo will be adopted out on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age. He will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption.

Training & Support

As with most puppies under one year old, Dillo is strongly encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes with his new family. He is still working on potty training and crate training. While he is catching on quickly to potty training and is doing well in a gated room, he is still being slowly introduced to his crate. A patient family willing to continue his training is essential.
