Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl with perky ears that are just asking for a good scratch! She has a lot of energy but enjoys napping most of the day. Grace was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies and is now ready to find her own forever home. She's a quick learner, already knows how to sit and lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. She loves her kennel and often naps in it voluntarily, finding it a safe space where she happily sleeps every night.

Ideal Home

Grace is looking for a home where she can be your one-and-only. She notices changes in her environment and can be sensitive when her people are away. While she's made great progress, she sometimes struggles with initial introductions to men but has proven she can overcome this with a gentle approach. She would do best in a home without other children or pets, as she thrives with focused attention.

Ongoing Health

Grace is generally healthy. She has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Grace is working on advanced commands like "roll over" and "shake," and is learning to be more zen about squirrels on walks. She is very strong and will require your full attention on walks, especially during the initial phase, so no distractions like AirPods. She has shown some signs of past trauma, which she is actively working through with the support of her foster family and rescue.
