Meet August, a sweet and friendly Great Pyrenees puppy who is as gentle and easygoing as his breed is known for. At 17 weeks old, he's already a healthy, happy boy who loves everyone he meets and is ready to find his forever family. He's a purebred Great Pyrenees, with both parents also being purebred. August is well-socialized and already knows how to walk on a leash.

Ideal Home

August would thrive in a home where he can continue to be socialized and loved. As a large breed, he will grow to be a big dog, so a home prepared for his size is essential.

Ongoing Health

August is up to date on all his vaccinations, including Bordetella and rabies, and he is microchipped. He has double dewclaws, which is a characteristic of the Great Pyrenees breed. As a large/giant breed, it's recommended that August not be altered until he is at least a year old to avoid potential health problems associated with early spaying or neutering. This will be the adopter's responsibility.

Training & Support

August is a puppy and will benefit from continued training and socialization. He already walks well on a leash.
