Skeeter

Skeeter is an estimated 6-year-old, 12-pound chihuahua who arrived at the rescue after being a stray intake at Tulare County Animal Shelter and at risk for euthanasia due to length of stay. Despite being a sweet, friendly, and normal little dog, he was sadly overlooked. He's ready for his second chance and is coming to rescue to find his forever home!

Ideal Home

Skeeter is a friendly, charming little guy who quickly wins people over with his affectionate temperament and confident, easygoing manner. He would likely do well in most homes.

Ongoing Health

Skeeter is up-to-date on core vaccinations, has been heartworm tested, microchipped with lifetime registration, and has had a recent health check with a veterinarian. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter and any indicated preventative care.

Training & Support

Skeeter walks politely on a leash, is reliably housebroken, and is quiet in the home, rarely barking. He ignores the resident cat and shows little interest in other dogs during walks. At home, he has formed a strong bond with the resident dog, following him everywhere and seeking close companionship.

Transporation
