Frank, or Franklin when he’s being extra charming, is a 3-year-old, 62-pound Labrador and Pit Bull mix. He's a sweet boy who perfectly balances his calmness with his silliness. Franklin was brought to the shelter because his playful energy was a bit too much for the senior dog in his previous home, so he is currently searching for a family with a younger canine buddy who can match his enthusiasm and play style.

Training & Support

This polite boy is an excellent listener who never jumps up on people and has a good head on his shoulders. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and easily responds to commands like "sit," "down," and "stay." He was also previously trained to an underground electronic fence, he could easily learn a perimeter boundary again in his new home. Franklin will be a lovely companion for someone who loves outdoor adventures just as much as a good lounge session. Plus, the cutest part! When Franklin is winding down, he often crosses his front paws in the most distinguished, gentlemanly way.

Transporation

You can visit him at the shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
