Flora

Flora is a beautiful, smart, and energetic girl with a heart full of loyalty and love. She was found on a rooftop in Jarretaderas, abandoned with two other dogs, and thankfully, a local animal welfare officer helped us rescue her. Since June 2022, Flora has been with us, showing us her incredible potential. She's a high-drive dog who thrives with structure and a confident leader. While she's good with most dogs, she prefers to be the alpha. The busy shelter environment can be overstimulating for her, but she's a fantastic leash walker and incredibly intelligent, ready to flourish with the right guidance.

Ideal Home

Flora needs an experienced adopter who can provide her with the structure and space she needs to thrive. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard or a large property and is not suited for condos or apartments.

Ongoing Health

Flora is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Flora is intelligent and eager to please, making her a great candidate for further training. With a confident leader, she will undoubtedly shine.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters can arrange for flight companions (flight angels) to transport their new pup from Puerto Vallarta. If a Canadian flight angel is unavailable during the summer months, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at the Peace Arch Park at the border. Volunteers are available to assist with border transport to ensure adoptions continue to move forward smoothly.
