Niko Bear looks like he stepped out of an action movie with his handsome, rugged exterior and mysterious aura. But don't let his tough guy looks fool you – underneath it all, Niko is a deeply sweet and gentle soul, a true teddy bear at heart. He's approximately 4 years old, weighs about 74 lbs, and is thought to be a Pittie/Shepherd mix. His calm, easygoing nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy life's simple pleasures. He's not demanding of attention, content to simply exist peacefully alongside his favorite people.
Niko is a wonderfully social boy who gets along with all dogs, big or small, confident or timid. He's currently fostering in a home with multiple dogs and has shown to be respectful and adaptable. He also had a positive introduction to a resident cat, showing no signs of chasing or aggression. If you have a feline friend, we can arrange a sleepover to ensure they're a good match!
Ideal Home
Niko would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can enjoy leisurely strolls and fresh air at his own pace.
Ongoing Health
Niko is up-to-date on all his vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Niko is potty-trained and has excellent house manners. He is still building confidence with crate training, but he is showing great improvement. He is working on his leash skills and will make a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls.
