North

Allow me to introduce your new best friend, North! This sweet young female Pit Bull Terrier mix is full of potential and would make a wonderful companion for any family. North is a giant love bug who would happily spend her days basking in your never-ending pets and cuddles. She's energetic and enjoys running laps in the backyard, but also knows when it's time to wind down and curl up at your feet for a nap.

Ideal Home

North would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention. She needs a home without cats or small dogs, and introductions to other animals should be slow and deliberate. She would also prefer a home where she doesn't have to be left alone for extended periods, so a stay-at-home parent would be a dream come true for her.

Ongoing Health

North is spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all her shots.

Training & Support

North is a quick learner and is very food motivated. She already knows "sit" and is working on "down." She is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is gentle with children and has proven to be a trusted member of her foster household. She does jump to greet adults, but a quick "no" will stop this behavior.
