Morty Mello the Marshmallow Sweetheart

Morty Mello is a 6-year-old, 75 lb pittie mix who is as gentle as they come. He's a giant-headed marshmallow with the face of a teddy bear and the soul of a cozy throw pillow. Morty is the friendliest, most easygoing guy, perfect for someone looking for a low-key companion. He loves to relax, soak up the sun in a backyard, and is happy to just hang out. He's also a wonderful housemate, fully potty trained and a good leash walker.

Ideal Home

Morty would do best in a home with another dog about his size that shares his calm demeanor, or he's perfectly happy as the sole canine companion. He would also do best in a kitty-free home. A backyard for sunbathing and exploring smells would be a plus, but he would also do well in an apartment due to his quiet nature and good manners.

Ongoing Health

Morty is generally healthy and appears to be a pittie mix, though breed and age cannot be guaranteed for rescued animals.

Training & Support

Morty has wonderful house manners and is fully potty trained. He walks beautifully on leash and is quiet in his crate, making him an excellent companion for work-from-home or leisurely strolls.

Morty is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
