This handsome boy is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix weighing in at a healthy 80lbs. Having come from a background of neglect, Bruno caught the eye (and heart) of the animal control officer on his case, and she took him home to foster. He has been thriving ever since and is the happiest boy, grateful to be safe and loved. He has shown himself to be very loyal.

Ideal Home

Bruno needs an active family who has experience with large dogs, as he relies on his handler for confidence and calmness. He is well-behaved on walks and hikes, making him the perfect adventure partner! He would do best with children 16+ due to his size and energy level. If he were to go to a home with a cat, the cat should be dog-savvy, otherwise, he may be too interested and try to chase.

Ongoing Health

Bruno is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Bruno is crate-trained and house-trained. He is quiet in his kennel and is off-leash and e-collar trained. He has shown mild resource guarding with other dogs, though it is easily managed. To set him up for success in his future home, he should be fed separately from other dogs.
