Skye

Skye is one of those puppies that walks into your life like she already pays rent there. Confident, social, hilarious, and equipped with a pair of deep blue eyes that could probably convince a grown man to co-sign a motorcycle loan. This little girl is SWEET sweet. The cling-to-your-side, fall-asleep-next-to-you, follow-you-room-to-room kind of sweet. If you sit down for longer than seven seconds, there is a very good chance Skye will appear beside you like a tiny emotional support gargoyle. And listen… she is also a professional nose biter. Not aggressively. Spiritually. One of Skye’s favorite hobbies is gently chomping noses like a tiny weird aunt at a family reunion. She LOVES walks, loves tug-of-war, loves other dogs, loves people, loves adventure, loves chaos in a healthy puppy-approved amount. Honestly the general theme of Skye is: “yes absolutely I would like to participate.” New people? Immediate friends. Kids? Fantastic. Dogs? Obsessed. She thrives around other pups and would absolutely love a canine sibling to wrestle with, follow around, and occasionally bother for absolutely no reason. And despite being a goofy puppy, she’s surprisingly adaptable. She can play hard outside, then crash beside you like she just finished a 12-hour shift at the steel mill. One minute she’s sprinting through the yard with her ears flapping like a tiny fruit bat, the next she’s asleep upside down beside your leg snoring like somebody’s unemployed uncle after Thanksgiving dinner. She’s also incredibly smart and eager to please. She’s confident in new environments, naturally social, and already showing signs of becoming an incredibly well-rounded adult dog. And the best part? You can already tell Skye is going to grow into the kind of dog people become irrationally obsessed with. The kind where years from now somebody asks: “Y’all getting another dog anytime soon?” And you just stare off into the distance and go: “I mean… there’s just never gonna be another Skye.”

Ideal Home

Homes with children 10 years and over. She thrives around other pups and would absolutely love a canine sibling to wrestle with, follow around, and occasionally bother for absolutely no reason.

Training & Support

Skye is still very much a puppy. This means she’s working on potty training, she’s learning crate skills, and she occasionally tests boundaries. She’s incredibly smart and eager to please.

Transporation

Skye is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
