About Chevy Teddy Your Snuggly Best Friend

Chevy Teddy is an absolute perfection of a dog, especially considering he's only about 9 months old! He weighs around 37 lbs and is believed to be a lab mix, though as with any rescue, breed and age are not guaranteed. Chevy Teddy has an incredibly sweet and mellow personality, a rare find for a pup his age. While some might call him a little lazy, we prefer to think of him as the most chill, unbothered prince! He's still playful and enjoys exploring and using his nose, but he's also more than happy to be a couch potato and join you for cozy movie nights. He has big-dog features in a medium-sized package, complete with an adorable, forever-puppy-dog face and massive feet! Chevy Teddy's energy level is wonderfully relaxed, making him seem much more mature than his age. He's a smart boy who is eager to please and enjoys learning, making training a fun experience.

Ideal Home

Chevy Teddy would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and lounge in the sun. He's happy with a good walk, some playtime, or a puzzle toy. He'd also be perfectly content as an only pet, but would also do well with a doggy sibling who enjoys gentle play sessions, knows when to take breaks, and can help build his confidence. He has shown himself to be respectful of cats and did not chase.

Ongoing Health

Chevy Teddy is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He is also on a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Chevy Teddy is crate-trained and appears to be potty-trained, though he may need a little guidance adjusting to a new home. He knows basic commands like "sit" and takes treats gently. He is still working on mastering his leash skills.
