Kenny is a delightful 2-year-old, 32-pound neutered Staffie and Terrier mix who is as sweet and affectionate as he is playful. He arrived at our rescue looking for his forever family and has been settling in wonderfully with his foster in San Antonio, TX. Kenny has a moderate energy level, making him a great companion for both playtime and relaxing cuddles. He adores other dogs of all sizes and is perceptive about when they're done playing, though in a home environment, it's best to manage his toys, bones, and treats as he can be a bit possessive of his treasures. Kenny has experience with children of all ages and has done wonderfully with them, showing his gentle and affectionate nature. While he hasn't been cat-tested, he's a social butterfly with people, though he may be a little shy initially before warming up and revealing his sweet, loving side. He's a pro at leash walking, rides calmly in the car, and navigates stairs with ease. Kenny is also crate trained and comfortable spending a few hours in his crate. This smart and silly boy thrives on toys and one-on-one attention and would be happy in a home without other dogs, but will truly flourish with an adopter who can provide him with structure, positive reinforcement, and abundant love.
Ideal Home
Kenny would thrive in a home that understands his tendency to be possessive of his treasures and is willing to patiently guide him.
Ongoing Health
