Rio

Rio is a charming 1-year-old, 19lb Chihuahua & Dachshund mix who has a lot of love to give. He may be a bit shy at first, but with a little time and a treat, his affectionate and loyal personality will shine through. He enjoys hiding in blankets and will sneak around corners just to get a look at you.

Ideal Home

Rio would thrive in a calm home where he can feel safe and secure. He would do best without young children. A fenced-in yard is ideal for him to continue working on his leash-walking skills.

Ongoing Health

Rio is potty trained and crate trained.

Training & Support

Rio is still learning leash manners and would benefit from a patient adopter willing to help him build confidence. He is good with cats and other dogs, though he benefits from slow introductions to larger dogs.
