Meet Tommy – The Goofy, Treat-Loving Softie!

Tommy is a handsome hound mix with the most expressive eyes and a heart that’s slowly learning to trust again. While he can be unsure around men at first, this sweet boy is making great progress with patient guidance and gentle kindness. Once you’ve earned his trust, Tommy transforms into a playful goofball who loves attention, gives gentle kisses, and eagerly soaks up affection.

Tommy enjoys playing outside, especially with other pups — he recently had a blast splashing around in the kiddie pool with his buddy Strawberry Moon! He’s also a big fan of treats and will happily show off his charm to earn one (or a few). This lovable boy may start off a little reserved, but those who take the time to understand him will find a loyal, fun-loving companion. If you believe in second chances and have a soft spot for underdogs, Tommy is ready to steal your heart — one tail wag at a time.

Ideal Home

Tommy thrives in calm environments where he can build trust at his own pace. He would benefit from a home that can continue to help him feel safe and loved. Homes with invisible fences are not a good fit for Tommy.

• Unaltered babies under six months of age can only be adopted to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County.
• Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area.
• We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.
