Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, 35-pound spayed female Pointer and Australian Cattle dog mix with a personality as bright as her name! She was rescued from a euthanasia list and is now ready to find her forever home, where she can share her boundless joy and affection. Daisy is a bundle of fun, known for her adorable zoomies, sweet cuddles, and an enthusiastic love for life. She's the perfect pup to brighten every single day.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home that can provide her with daily exercise, either through walks, playtime with another dog, or a securely fenced yard. She would also do well with children 10 years or older who understand how to approach a shy dog with kindness and respect. While she enjoys her foster siblings, Daisy would strongly prefer a home with another friendly, confident dog to be her companion. She can be left loose in the house when alone but might investigate shoes, so keeping them put away is a good idea!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is a healthy young dog who has been spayed.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered girl! She is fully house-trained with no accidents, walks beautifully on leash without reactivity, and is crate-trained. She also has no issues with resource guarding and happily shares her toys and treats. Her food motivation makes training even more enjoyable. Because she can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, Daisy would benefit from a calm home with a predictable routine where she can warm up at her own pace with gentle voices and personal space.
