7517 Raider - I'm a SSNAP Dog

Raider is a compact, athletic, and very smart Doberman Pinscher with an eagerness to please! He thrives with consistent and knowledgeable handling. While Raider has a cute face and playful attitude, he is also capable of serious resource guarding and can be resistant to handling for basic grooming. He's definitely not a starter dog and would never be the ideal "couch potato" many families seek. It would be unfair to expect him to transform into a mellow house pet. However, Raider would be a fantastic project dog for a professional trainer or handler with significant working dog and/or rehab experience. With the right expertise, he might even excel in the competition obedience ring! We suspect his feelings about cats are somewhere between his opinion of snacks and having his toenails done.

Ideal Home

Raider would thrive as an only dog or in a tightly managed crate-and-rotate situation with an experienced and professional handler. He cannot be recommended for a household with children due to his serious resource guarding.

Raider is neutered and vaccinated.

Raider has a tendency for resource guarding and can be resistant to handling for grooming. He requires experienced and knowledgeable handling.
