Toffee is a delightful 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, with eyes as soft as her heart. We believe she's a Vizsla mix, and she brings a wonderful blend of playful energy and affectionate cuddles to her home. Toffee is a happy girl who loves to romp with her dog pals, play hard, and then snuggle up for some quality time. She's already house and crate trained, and she thrives on routine and feeling secure. While the big world outside can still be a bit intimidating for this sensitive soul, she's made incredible progress with patience and encouragement, and her confidence is growing every day. She's starting to discover the joy of outdoor adventures!
Ideal Home
Toffee would blossom with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog in the home to show her the ropes. Her ideal family is patient and understanding, ready to continue building her confidence and cheer her on. She'd prefer a home without very young children, ideally with kids 10 years and older who are dog-savvy. Toffee also finds small dogs and puppies overwhelming, so a home without them would be best.
Ongoing Health
Toffee is a healthy girl. She can experience some drooling during car rides, but it's temporary and she recovers quickly once she arrives at her destination.
Training & Support
Toffee has made great strides with car rides, going from being petrified to jumping in willingly, understanding that the car means adventure! She just needs someone willing to continue going at her pace, offering encouragement, and showing her the wonderful world.
