Sunny (Photos June 18th 2026)

Sunny is a delightful 8-month-old female Labrador Retriever mix with a sweet and loving personality waiting to blossom. She has a beautiful black coat with a distinctive white patch on her chest and cute white socks on her front paws. Her expressive brown eyes, slender muzzle, and large floppy ears give her an adorable and hopeful look. A unique wavy/curly texture to the fur on her back adds to her special charm.

Sunny is an overgrown puppy who can be a bit shy and nervous in new environments, which is completely understandable given her recent change in circumstances. She needs a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she'll show her affectionate side by snuggling close. She weighs 25 lbs and is eager to find her forever family.

Ideal Home

Sunny would thrive in a quiet home with a patient and loving individual or family who will give her the time and space she needs to adjust at her own pace.

Sunny will be spayed before adoption.

Training & Support

Sunny is housetrained and good with children. While in a previous foster home, she had a tendency to take toys as her own and barked quite a bit. She did not enjoy being in a kennel environment. With consistent positive reinforcement and understanding, she can overcome these little quirks.
