Meet Rac, the raccoony pooch! This 62 lb Husky Mix, estimated to be born on March 11, 2023, is an outgoing and active guy who radiates happiness! Rac loves to zoomie with his doggy pals and his foster dad, who enjoys playing with his toys. He's also a fan of long walks and new adventures, though getting into a car can be a bit of a hurdle. While he may be initially shy, with a little patience and love, Rac blossoms into a devoted best friend.
Rac was rescued from a harsh winter freeze, having no shelter and being fed by a kind neighbor. Thankfully, his foster dad came to the rescue and brought him into a caring home. He's even had some extra support from a trainer to help him adjust to indoor living. Rac gets along wonderfully with his canine housemates but is too energetic for kitties. His foster dad describes him as very sweet and eager for attention.

Rac is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can go to various locations in Eastern and Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app or through Facebook chats.
