Meet Pepe Le Pew, a charming 9-week-old (estimated DOB March 2026) Chihuahua/Terrier mix who currently weighs 3 pounds and is expected to grow. Found abandoned on the streets of Houston with his littermates, Pepe is a curious little masked bandit who loves to sneak away with a chew stick. He's on the smaller side of his pack, but don't let his size fool you – he's full of love and charm. Pepe adores naps, puppy kisses, and cozy snuggles, and would much rather cuddle than cause trouble. He has a gentle personality that makes him impossible not to adore.
Ideal Home
Pepe is a brave and social little pup who should do well with kids, cats, and other dogs when introduced appropriately. However, due to his tiny size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. As Pepe is still very young, he cannot be left alone for long periods of time. We are looking for a home where someone is home more often than not to help with his socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours at a time, we will not be able to consider your application unless there is another adult in the household available to care for him during the day.

We do not know Pepe's parentage, so his exact breed mix and adult size are a mystery. Adopters should be prepared for surprises!
Training & Support
Like all puppies, Pepe is still learning about the world and needs a family committed to helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. He is still working on potty training and crate training. His new family should expect to continue consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience as he learns. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Pepe is no exception.

Transporation
Pepe is currently in a foster home in Austin, Texas. He can be transported once he is matched to an adopter.
