Jaskier is a 9-month-old, approximately 50-pound lab mix who has spent much of his young life in a shelter environment. He's a sweet, playful, and happy boy who is now experiencing life in a foster home and is making wonderful progress. Initially, Jaskier was sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, but with patience and understanding, he is learning to feel more comfortable and confident. He's adapting to household sounds, enjoying playtime, and getting the hang of routines and crate training. He has had very few potty accidents, which is impressive for a pup who has known kennel life. Jaskier has started interacting positively with the resident dog and is gentle with older children.
Ideal Home
Jaskier would thrive in a home that can offer patience, structure, and time for him to continue building his confidence. While he is gentle with older children, a home without toddlers would be best as he is still learning his manners and can sometimes be unaware of his size.
Ongoing Health
Jaskier is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and has been microchipped and spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Jaskier is learning to adjust to life outside the shelter. He is doing well with house training and takes correction well when it comes to puppy nipping. Continued positive reinforcement and consistent routines will help him continue to thrive.
