Hi, I'm Champ and I live up to my name! I'm a 4 1/2-year-old, 62 lb mixed breed sweetheart who's ready to win the championship title of Best Friend. I love everyone I meet and happily soak up all the pets, cuddles, and attention people are willing to give. I'm the total package when it comes to house manners. I'm house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and I don't bark much. I don't chew things I'm not supposed to and I have not had accidents in the house. I've even served as an emotional support dog in the past, which makes sense because I genuinely love being close to my people.
I am the MVP of every fetch game I have ever played. Hand me a tennis ball and watch me go for the gold! I could chase, retrieve, and bring it back all day long. Sure, stuffed toys are fun, but nothing makes me light up quite like hearing a tennis ball bounce. I know how to sit for treats, but if you ask me, another throw of the ball is the real prize. I enjoy having canine teammates too! I do best with dogs my size or larger, and I'm known for being patient, even when another dog is a little feisty. When I'm not training for my fetch championship, I'm happy to relax by your side, go for walks, cuddle on the couch, or challenge you to a game of tug-of-war or "keep away." I'll admit, I can be pretty proud of my toys and sometimes don't want to give them up right away. Every champ likes to hold onto the trophy!
Ideal Home
Because I can get a little enthusiastic during playtime, I'd do best in a home with older children only, if any, who can understand my champion level energy. A family with dog experience would be a great coach to help me continue being my best self.

I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines.
Training & Support
