Fred is the kind of dog who wakes up every day excited to be part of the world! He is so friendly and just wants to be with his person! Sweet, curious, and endlessly upbeat, Fred has a positive energy that's impossible not to love. He's friendly with everyone he meets, loves attention from his people, and happily follows along wherever life takes him. Whether he's hanging out with other dogs, exploring the yard, or just shadowing you around the house, Fred is happiest being part of the action. He is inquisitive and has no apprehension or fear! Fred takes redirection really well and is eager to learn, making him a fun dog to continue training and growing with. While loud or unexpected noises can make him a little nervous, Fred bounces back quickly with reassurance and keeps his happy-go-lucky attitude intact.

Ongoing Health
Fred is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Fred is crate trained, gets along great with both dogs and cats, and is currently working on house training and leash manners. If he does have an accident in the house it is on a pee pad! He started walks with his harness and loves it! He just prances and bounces around - he thoroughly enjoys himself on walks! We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership.

- We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
Transporation
Fred is being fostered in Richmond, VA. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.
