Peke is a sweet 2-year-old Pekinese who found himself looking for a new home when his previous owner was evicted. He's a friendly boy who gets along well with kids and other dogs, making him a potential great addition to many families!

Ideal Home

Peke would love a home where he can share his affection with a family. We don't have information on his house training status, so a patient adopter who can help him learn will be key!

Ongoing Health

Peke is arriving from Texas and will receive a health check and necessary vaccinations upon arrival. All adoption fees contribute to the extensive medical care our dogs receive, ensuring they are as healthy as possible when they come to you.

Training & Support

We're still learning about Peke's needs, but he'll benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. Your adoption fee includes a complimentary first exam at any participating VCA Animal Hospital within 14 days of adoption, with VCA also providing limited health coverage for specific minor illnesses diagnosed during that initial period.

• Our adoption fee helps cover the significant costs of rescuing and transporting dogs from Texas, including spay/neuter (if applicable), core vaccines, heartworm tests (if applicable), deworming, and microchip.
• We are a non-profit rescue, and any excess revenue is dedicated to caring for animals with additional medical needs.

Peke will be arriving from Texas on 7/24 and can be met after that date.
