Sully

Sully is a handsome 3–4-year-old Labrador Mix weighing approximately 50 lbs. He's a sweet, gentle soul with a heart full of love to give! Sully has a congenital hip condition, and unfortunately, surgery isn't an option for him. Because of this, he needs a calm, low-activity lifestyle and cannot remain standing for long periods. Despite his condition, Sully absolutely adores car rides and enjoys taking in the scenery. He's very social and friendly, easily building trust with people and other dogs. While he enjoys company, he's not a fan of constant physical contact. Sully is an easygoing boy with a beautiful smile that makes him look like the happiest dog in the world! He is incredibly easy to love and will deeply cherish his new family.

Ideal Home

Sully needs a peaceful home where he can rest comfortably and receive plenty of affection without the need for extensive exercise. He would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard.

Sully has a congenital hip condition that limits his mobility and requires a low-activity lifestyle.

Training & Support

Sully is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may have experienced trauma and require patience and understanding as they adjust to a new environment. Providing a safe, loving environment, establishing a routine, and clear boundaries will help him feel secure. Experience with dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, is highly recommended.

• Fill out our adoption form.
• Send photos/videos of your home to ensure your future furry friend will be safe.
• If it's a match, we'll call or video chat to introduce you to the pet and conduct a virtual home tour.
• We'll speak with 1–2 of your references.
• If approved, you'll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which helps cover vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, food, and more.

Transporation

Sully is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on a cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time fee of $400 USD. We organize 3-4 trips per year with a contracted transport company that ensures a safe and comfortable journey. You'll receive real-time updates during the trip in a private Facebook Messenger group.
