Meet Red, a charming 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 50 pounds. Red's previous owner sadly passed away, and he found himself in the wonderful care of a neighbor who is passionate about animal rescue. He's been flourishing ever since and is ready to bring his zest for life to a new family!

Red is always up for an adventure! He enjoys playtime with other dogs, romping in the yard, and exploring new sights and smells with a curious and enthusiastic spirit. When it's time to relax, he's a total lovebug who will happily snuggle up and soak in all the affection you have to give.

Ideal Home

Red would thrive in an active home where he can continue to learn, play, and be an integral part of the family. He has not previously lived in a home with children, but he has shown to be friendly with neighborhood children when they interact with him.

Training & Support

Red is crate and potty trained and will give a little whine when he needs to go outside. He's a quick learner and is picking up on indoor living like a champ! His signature move is to greet people by standing up and leaning in for love. Red knows basic commands like "sit" and "down." While he's still mastering leash manners, as he didn't have much practice before coming into foster care, he is very eager to learn and please. He lived outdoors before his foster home and showed a calm nature, not reacting to passersby.
