Meet little Miss Midna! This adorable, goofy girl is around 2 years old and appears to be a black lab mix. She truly wakes up every day excited to simply exist, bringing an abundance of "OMG HI I LOVE YOU" energy, happy tail wags, and toy obsessions. Midna is the kind of dog who enters a room as if it's the best day of her life – bouncy, silly, affectionate, and full of lovable personality. She spent most of her assessment seeking love, attention, and probably someone to tell her she's the prettiest girl in the universe.
Midna is EXTREMELY passionate about booty scratches, even having a signature move: her hind end slowly powers down into a funny squat, as standing is simply too overwhelming during prime scratch time. Hit the right spot, and you'll be rewarded with tiny, dramatic happy kicks that show her pure joy. Her foster family's favorite thing about her is how she carries toys around like prized possessions, especially squeaky ones. If you've ever wanted a personal, goofy emotional support mascot, Midna is your girl! She also gets the cutest happy zoomies, bouncing with pure joy before dramatically flopping onto her side, tongue out, as if she's just completed a marathon. Midna is also a massive "Velcro baby" who loves her people deeply and wants to be involved in everything you do, happiest when included in everyday life. She met many people during her assessment and was loving and confident with everyone, though she can get a little jumpy when excited, feeling like an overenthusiastic Disney sidekick.
Ideal Home
Midna would thrive in a home with a nice yard where she can zoom around and play. Apartment living is likely not ideal for this active girl. While she hasn't officially met children, she can be kid-tested. Older children would probably be the best fit due to her playful, bouncy nature and tendency to jump up when excited. Cats are a definite no; she is too interested in them and would do best in a kitty-free home.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned in the listing.
Training & Support
Midna can get a little jumpy when she is excited. Her foster family notes she gives fair "okay that's enough, please" corrections when other dogs annoy her too much.
