Sparrow

Sparrow is a very sweet and active Border Collie, over 3 years old, who will make a wonderful companion! He's a shy boy who takes some time to warm up to new people, especially men, but once he does, he's a loyal velcro dog. Sparrow has the potential for dog sports like agility and disc, but his nervousness might need some work if he's to compete. He's great with women and children, and also gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. While he does have a tendency to herd cats, he can be managed and does recall off them.

Ideal Home

Sparrow would do best in a home prepared to help him gain confidence. While he's not aggressive, a cat-free household is recommended due to his herding tendencies.

Ongoing Health

Sparrow has some stomach sensitivity, but he is doing well on his current food. He is up-to-date on vaccines and will be neutered before placement.

Training & Support

Sparrow may need some support to overcome his shyness and nervousness, especially if you plan to engage in dog sports. Consistent positive reinforcement will be key to helping him build confidence.
