Plum is a vibrant and intelligent 2-year-old, 35lb Aussie x Heeler mix who is bursting with enthusiasm for life. Months in a kennel have been tough on her, and she desperately needs a home where her sharp mind and energetic spirit can truly shine. Plum is spayed, heartworm negative, and very dog-social, though her playful energy can be a bit much for more sensitive dogs. She thrives on activity and mental engagement, needing an outlet for both her physical energy and her busy Heeler brain. Plum is incredibly smart and eager to learn, and volunteers believe she is highly trainable with the right guidance.

Ideal Home

Plum would do best in a home with adult-only individuals or older, dog-savvy teens. She is not a good fit for homes with cats or other small animals due to her herding instincts and tendency to nip.
