DODGER

Meet Dodger, a handsome young fellow who was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia. He's now fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccines. Dodger did test positive for Ehrlichia before coming to us and underwent a course of doxycycline. He has since completed his treatment and shows no symptoms. Dodger is a friendly dog who loves to play with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a canine companion. He's probably not the best fit for a home with cats, and while he's a sweetheart, his exuberance might be a bit much for very young children.

Ideal Home

Dodger would benefit from another dog in the household to play with. A fenced yard is preferred to give him plenty of space to run and burn off energy.

Ongoing Health

Dodger tested positive for Ehrlichia and completed a course of doxycycline. He is now symptom-free and should require no further treatment.

Training & Support

Dodger is a quick learner and eager to please, having mastered many commands with his foster dad. He is looking for a caregiver who can provide him with plenty of exercise. His foster family has noted that he absolutely loves to swim in their pond!
