PRINCESS (Bleeding Heart Society)

Princess is a beautiful 4-year-old, 55-60 lb dog who shines her light regardless of her circumstances. She was likely used for backyard breeding or discarded as a street dog, but her spirit remains unbroken. Princess is a lovey-dovey girl who will warm both your heart and soul. She was found wandering the grounds at an elementary school, leading to Animal Control being called due to concerns about a loose pitbull around children. Despite her past, she radiates sunshine and is amiable to just about anything, making her easy-going and easy to please. She's not much of a barker.

Ideal Home

Princess would thrive in a home where she is made to feel special and treated like the princess she is. She needs someone willing to gently guide her as she transitions into a forever family home and is willing to work with her.

Training & Support

Princess is crate-trained and keeps her kennel clean, suggesting she would learn to be house-trained quickly with consistent structure. She has no storm anxiety, separation anxiety, or behavioral issues. Princess is smart and aware, able to read her person and follow their lead. She knows commands such as SIT, STAY, and DOWN. She walks well on a leash and is well-mannered in the car. While she loves food and treats, she's not overly food-driven. Her prey drive is suspected to be average. The one area for improvement is that she is a lady but you wouldn't know it by her poop.
