Meet Ivy, a delightful and affectionate girl born on March 11, 2025. Ivy joined our rescue after her previous family had to make the difficult decision to rehome her. She's been a true joy in her foster home, showcasing a happy and playful spirit that's sure to win your heart. Her absolute favorite pastime is a good game of fetch – toss a ball, and you'll have a lifelong friend! She also enjoys her toys, going for walks, and simply being by your side.

Ivy would thrive in an active family that loves to play and include her in daily life. She adores children and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Ivy has been spayed, is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and is heartworm negative, making her ready for her new home.

Training & Support

This smart girl already knows commands like "sit," "lay down," "come," "no," "go potty," and "go to your kennel." She is also potty trained and crate trained and does well with a routine. Ivy can be a little shy around men when she first meets them. She may bark and back away initially, needing a little extra time to feel comfortable. With patience, kindness, and treats, she quickly warms up and becomes incredibly loving. She is very food motivated and enjoys a variety of treats like watermelon, cucumbers, apples, and ice cubes.

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her $600 adoption fee includes transport, and we likely have a transport stop near you!
