Betsy is about two years old and is likely a mix of Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie, though we can't be 100% certain as she's a rescue. With her captivating mismatched eyes, soft floppy ears, and beautiful coloring, she's a real head-turner.

Betsy can be a little shy when first meeting new people, often doing a playful "drive-by bump" to gauge your reaction before showering you with wiggles. But once she feels comfortable, her joyful, snorty, and hilarious personality truly shines. Her foster family says she's a master of the happy jump when her favorite humans arrive. Once you're in Betsy's circle, expect enthusiastic wags, full-body wiggles, and the most loving gaze you can imagine. She forms deep bonds with her people and is incredibly loyal.

Betsy is an active girl who adores her walks and is a dream on the leash, trotting happily by your side and checking in with sweet eye contact. Back at home, she's a toy enthusiast, particularly fond of small plush cat toys, which she'll happily chase and toss around. She's also a huge foodie and is highly treat-motivated, making her a joy to train. Betsy is a smart cookie, picking up new commands quickly and enjoying quality time learning with her humans.

Betsy has successfully lived with other dogs in her foster home. While she might be shy initially, she blossoms into a playful companion once she feels safe. She has also coexisted peacefully with cats, even engaging in playful wrestling with her feline foster siblings. Dog-savvy cats would likely be the best fit.

You can track your pet's journey in real-time. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
