Meet Darla, a delightful dog with an approximate date of birth of March 17, 2023, and weighing around 43 lbs. Darla is searching for a family that is as wonderful as she is! Her foster mom describes her as a sweet girl who is both house and crate trained. She'll even let you know when she needs to go outside by whining. Darla has enjoyed playing with the dogs in her foster home, especially those with even temperaments, as she tends to shy away from bossy or dominant personalities. She loves a good game of tag, tug-of-war, and chase with her canine friends. The yard she plays in has a 4' chain-link fence, and she has never attempted to escape. While she sometimes plays fetch, she's more interested in keeping the ball or toy for herself – a true testament to her playful spirit! Darla is also working on her leash manners while wearing a harness, and we'll include her harness, collar, and leash with her adoption.

Ideal Home

Darla thrives in a home where she can play with other even-tempered dogs. She does not do well with bossy or dominant dogs.

Darla has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped.

Darla is house and crate trained and will communicate her needs. She is working on leash walking with a harness.
